Anemone is set in Yorkshire in the late 1980s and explores the fraught, yet occasionally tender, relationship between two brothers (Daniel Day-Lewis & Sean Bean) who served as British paramilitaries in Northern Ireland twenty years prior, a past that has left deep emotional scars and a legacy of personal and political violence.
