Two prequels to the Cold War franchise (2012’s Cold War and 2016’s Cold War 2) are on their way from Edko Films.
The prequels will revolve around a high-ranking police officer (previously played by Tony Leung Ka-Fai) from the previous Cold War films, who is forced to walk a fine line between the triads, the elites and the British colonial government, while keeping a high-profile kidnapping case out of the media.
